By installing, accessing, or using Graytool ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Graytool is an open-source Chrome extension designed to enhance the Graylog log management experience by adding customizable action buttons to log entries. The Extension allows users to:

  • Create custom URL templates linked to log fields
  • Add action buttons to Graylog log rows
  • Configure conditional button visibility based on log content
  • Import and export button configurations

3. Open Source License

Graytool is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the terms of the MIT License. The source code is available at GitHub.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your use of the Extension complies with your organization's policies
  • Configuring the Extension appropriately for your Graylog environment
  • Maintaining the security of your browser and systems
  • Any content or URLs you configure within the Extension

5. Data Privacy

Graytool stores all configuration data locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. No data is transmitted to external servers. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
